What this service is

This is a tool for seeing where a school bus is while it is running its route, provided to families by their school through the organisation named at the foot of this page.

It is an aid, not a guarantee

The map shows where a bus last reported itself to be. Phones lose signal, batteries die, devices get left behind and buses get replaced at short notice. A bus that is not moving on the map may be moving perfectly well in reality.

Never use this app as the only reason to send a child out to a stop, to keep one inside, or to decide that a bus is not coming. Estimated arrival times are estimates. Your school's own arrangements come first, always.

Your account

Accounts are personal. Your email address and your password are yours; passing either to someone else gives them the location of children who are not theirs.
Use the app to follow the routes your own stop is on. Do not try to reach routes, addresses or accounts that are not yours, and do not attempt to work around the access checks.
Do not republish, broadcast or automatically collect what you see here. The location of a school bus is information about where children are.
Tell your school straight away if you think someone else has got into your account, and change your password.

If you are a school

You are responsible for the addresses you enter, for whose email you put against each house, and for taking a family off a house when they leave — that list is what decides who can watch a bus. The app records who added and removed each one so you can answer for it. Tell drivers that the device on the bus reports its position while the route is running.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Your school can remove your access to a route at any time — usually because a child has changed school or route. Access may also be suspended if an account is being used to reach data that is not its own.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as it stands, without a guarantee that it will be available or accurate at any particular moment. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss arising from relying on it — which is the legal form of the point made above: it is an aid, and your school's arrangements are what you rely on.

Changes

These terms and the privacy policy may be updated. The date at the top of each page says when it last changed. A change that materially affects what is collected about you will be announced in the app rather than made quietly.
